After purchase, we’ll generate your cover proof for your review and approval before we go to print. If you’re not happy with it for any reason, you can email us to cancel the order instead of approving the proof.

Our books are packed in a classic cardboard shipper with a cheerful blue Scribbly sticker on the front. Add your own custom dedication to the book, including a photo, during the ordering process. For an unforgettable year-round gifting experience, consider the Most Magical Book Club. Your little one’s membership includes a new collectible Scribbly book arriving every two months - with one special title on their birthday! - a gorgeous cotton tote bag, and a custom-made photo membership card. Scribbly books are keepsake quality. Every story is printed on premium, forest friendly paper with vibrant colors; bound with durable sewn binding; and completed with a soft-touch matte hardcover.

Including the book’s cover, your child will be drawn into twelve rich, full-color illustrations.

Write a note to your little one, and include a picture of them, or of the two of you together (even better!) in a full-page spread at the book’s opening.

This is a sweet touch and a crowd favorite.

The safety of the image and likeness of our children online is an important concern, and as a mother of two young children who has worked in tech for 15 years, it’s one I wholeheartedly share.

Once you've approved your little one’s cover illustration, their book will enter production. We finalize their illustrations, then print, sew, and bind their book on our next advertised print date — to get your book fast, order ahead of the next print run!

Books ship from New England, USA and land on domestic doorsteps depending on the shipping method you choose at checkout.
The total time from date of production to arrival will be:

• Domestic Economy: 9-18 business days (5-10 days production + 4-8 days shipping)

• Domestic Expedited 2nd Day Air: 7-12 business days (5-10 days production + 2 days shipping)

We’ll send you an email at each step as your book moves through the process of production, and you can keep tabs on it through the Scribbly app - where you can also get sneak peeks of your illustrations!

It’s also not just another children’s book. Your Scribbly book is a gorgeous, 1-of-1 custom collectible designed to last. 

We worked tirelessly to create the most stunningly beautiful likenesses available on the market, and we think you’ll be amazed by their richness and the way they capture the bright spirit of your little one.

The story was written by a mom who appreciates rhyme and knows the importance of the just-right length before bedtime. 

The materials and size of the book, meanwhile, was poured over (and over) to be hopefully just right.

Your Scribbly is a 10x10-inch hardcover with sewn binding and forest-friendly paper, manufactured in the USA.

Yes, but only before approving your little one’s cover illustration. After that time, the book will be in production. If you spot a typo in your child’s name or want to change the delivery address, reach out to us right away on our contact page. Once your book goes to production, we can’t make changes, cancel or refund.

Yes! Scribbly books love to travel. Shipping fees and delivery times vary depending on the destination.

Enter your code in the box at checkout before completing your order. Forgot to apply it? Email us within 24 hours of purchase — we’ll sprinkle a little Scribbly magic to help where we can.

Absolutely. Your book will go through a process of illustration, printing and binding before it ships.

We’ll send you email updates as it moves through each step, but the best way to stay connected to the process is through the Scribbly app — you’ll get sneak peeks of your illustrations there, too!

You’ll get a tracking link as soon as your story is on its way.

Because each Scribbly book is made uniquely for your child, we’re unable to offer refunds or returns once it’s in production.

Production starts right after you approve your cover proof. Please double-check names and other details carefully before you confirm your order and approve your proof.

Oh no! If your book arrives misprinted or damaged in transit, please email us within 7 days of delivery here with photos of the issue. We’ll make it right with a reprint.
